The rodeo is over for Ron Mark
Known for his cowboy hat and his middle finger salute, feisty politician Ron Mark was never afraid to go into battle for what he believed.
The outgoing Minister of Defence and six-term NZ First MP was one of Parliament’s more colourful characters, but the 66-year-old’s future political aspirations may have come to a close as his party was swept out of power at the weekend.
Mark says he is taking time off and has made no decision about what he will do.
