RiverLink drills deep with geotech survey

RiverLink

The RiverLink project team are doing ground investigations in Daly Street in Lower Hutt. They are drilling two boreholes and a few other less invasive tests. This testing is part of the RiverLink project and the data from the tests will be used in the design and construction of RiverLink.

Have you seen one of these in action before? Watch a video of the action happening in the Daly Street area. It’s very interesting to watch the drilling process. This standard penetration test is to gather a sample to test the density and strength of the soil.
