A few tips:
Set up a Bedtime routine that is happy and calm.
Be consistent – follow the schedule you have set.
When it is time for sleep, leave the room.
If they get upset, say you will come back and check on them and do check back every ten minutes.
Be boring and don’t engage, and here is a good tip, fold the washing if you stay in the room!
Best tip: start them when they are young, put them into their cot when they are sleepy but not asleep so they learn to self-settle.
