Alpine Toastmasters Timaru
YOU are invited to a very special night, a FREE event, as Alpine Toastmasters Timaru are hosting one of their renowned open evenings!
We welcome you all to come along and see what makes Toastmasters so special. A slightly more relaxed evening will see us beginning by having three prepared speeches, three evaluations and ending the evening with some fun and humor with impromptu Table Topics! You are guaranteed a fun night
We are a group who are dedicated to supporting the personal growth and development of all of its' members. We offer a supportive & positive learning experience which encourages the development of communication & leadership skills, self confidence & personal growth.
Who would benefit from Toastmasters?
Anyone doesn’t feel comfortable with public speaking or speaking to others. Learn to speak and be direct, specific and clear. We also look at our non verbal communication. Toastmasters also teaches leadership, presentation and listening skills, such as providing encouraging, constructive feedback
You will find a supportive learn-by-doing environment at Alpine, that allows you to achieve your goals at your own pace. Toastmasters skills can be applied in many real situations, such as introducing yourself, giving celebration speeches, getting your point across and how to engage with people more easily.
