Do you want to have a say on what happens in your neighbourhood?

Denise Piper Reporter from The Bay Chronicle

Voting for the local body elections - including Far North District and Northland Regional councils - will be held this year in Spring. But just 87% of eligible voters in Far North are enrolled, with those aged 18 to 24 having the lowest rate. The Electoral Commission says everyone aged over 18 should've received an enrolment update pack by now. If you haven't, or you need to update your details, go to vote.nz or call 0800-36-76-56.
