Grand Piano for sale
17 years ago Mr BBC was looking for an engagement present for his Kiwi flute-player fiance, and to his delight happened upon an antique grand owned by a jazz pianist who was downsizing. Lovingly cared for ever since and regularly tuned, our antique Ibach boudoir grand piano is again looking for a new home as we are buying a larger piano to replace it. Built in Germany in 1904 (serial number 49753) the piano has been a cornerstone of musical life here at the Flute Farm Studio in Kerikeri, featuring in concerts, supporting music lessons and providing countless hours of joy. The Ibach has ivory keys, an ornate music stand and turned wooden legs with brass casters. Would suit adult hobby musician/ student pianist - we are hoping the piano might stay in the Bay of Islands! Viewing/ playing welcome by arrangement. $5000 ono
