Hospice Mid-Northland Art & Collectables Auction 2019

Adele from Hospice Mid-Northland

Held just once a year at Kerikeri’s Turner Centre, Hospice are pretty excited to reveal their amazing lineup of Local artists whom have contributed an artwork to their annual Art & Collectables Auction. On it’s 6th year, this auction just keeps growing in size and support and we know we have the perfect recipe for a great night. It’s going to be interactive and fun. Salmon on the menu and a couple of bottles for wine on your table, all for $50 it wouldn’t make sense to miss this event. Then there is the earlybird pricing at just $450 for a table of 10 available up until 21st Sept or SOLD OUT.
With Local lawyer extraordinaire Rick Palmer in the box seat, and Sabine Davison, expert auctioneer from Bayleys in the North, our Principal Sponsor for this event it will be seat of your pants stuff. The very fabulous Allie Mooney will also be regaling us with her latest work in her entertaining and halrious way!
Keeping to tradition we have 120 items in a silent auction with our screens being able to be viewed from your seat…trying to beat the person bidding against you becomes a game of cat and mouse. Our nurses especially love attending this event, the comraderie and generosity they see is really incredibly humbling - it brings out the best in people. It’s also our 30th year operating in the Mid North too – which is just pretty special!
With a new addition of a ‘Buy Now’ table we have been squirrelling away some pretty fantastic items. There is absolutely something for everyone…..From an eclectic range of English Butter Dishes that are making a huge comeback, to some beautiful jewellery from Tiffany & Co.
We also celebrate the contribution that Northern Regional Correctional Facility Art’s Programme will gift for this event, another fantastic community relationship that supports us with some donated items.

For ticket/table enquiries please contact the office on (09) 407 7799 or email Adele at fundraising@hospicemn.org.nz

Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This Wednesday, we're having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.

John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!

As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!

John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.
