Healthy choices at home and kindergarten are ingraining good habits in Southland youngsters.
On Tuesday Kew Kindergarten, in Invercargill, were awarded its Pā-Harakeke Award by Hearty, the Heart Foundation's mascot.
The award is the highest of three levels in the Heart Foundation programme (Tohu Manawa Ora – Kōhungahunga) for early learning services.
