Whangarei Film Society - screenings for Thursday July 18th

Geoff from Central Whangarei

Good People

On Thursday the 18th July at 6pm, WFS will be screening the British musical comedy, Greatest Days.

Our 8pm screening is the award-winning tale of two young men fighting for their freedom, Io Capitano.

GREATEST DAYS
UK, 2023, Comedy, Musical
108 mins, Rated PG 13 (strong language)
Cast: Aisling Bea, Emma Amos, Matthew McNulty.

In the mid 1990s, a group of teen girls live out their dream when they all sneak out to see their favourite boy band play live in concert.

Twenty-five years later, all their lives have changed and the group has lost touch. But then, Rachel, the leader of the group, wins tickets to see the boy band performing their reunion tour.

It's one more epic show for the long lost friends to all see and a chance for the women to reunite and reignite their friendship and discover that maybe, their greatest days are ahead of them.

A blast of feelgood reunion excitement. Don't miss it. - The Guardian

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Poll: Would you commute by public transport if it was free?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Using your car is convenient, except for finding parking.

Cycling lets you leave anytime, but you might arrive soaked.

So, neighbours, if public transport had the perk of being free, would it be your main way to commute?
