Job hunting / relocation
Hey neighbourly fam, I got a question, 2 parts. I'm job hunting to hopefully secure something for next year but being in HB there's not a lot out there or people just not replying back, due to this I've also considered looking out of region. My cv clearly states where I'm located. I've been contacted by a Hamilton based company who actually seemed surprised when I told them I was in Hastings. I asked if I could do my initial interview via Zoom but the Receptionist lady wouldn't even consider it. I reached out to the Director asking about it and still no reply. Is it realistic for companies to expect out of town potentials to travel up for a first interview?
Second part is if you know of anyone hiring within a school or other organization- finance, payroll, office management, PA, senior admin etc please let me know.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
