Bits and bobs and Bitsy’s and Bob’s for workshop
I’m still after a few things for the workshop.
Does anyone have a spare dish rack, tray, drawer caddy/cutlery tray, plate rack, cup holder, or any other kitchen storage solutions they don’t need? They’ll find use in the Re-New Community Workshop and Store smoko room.
I’m also looking for qualified/experienced people who might like to teach workshops, on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
The sorts of workshops I’m looking to host are basic home maintenance, beginners sewing, woodwork, metalwork, art, jewellery making, lamp wiring or rewiring, pottery, salvage art, upholstery or anything else people might be interested in.
These workshops will be targeted at beginners. So, if you are a retired tradie, or a newly quailed one, or a competent, skilled, experienced contractor etc and interested in sharing your knowledge, especially if you are still licensed or registered in your field, and able to sign off on students efforts I.e test and tag lamps, please let me know.
At Re-New I’m trying to bring back some basic life skills, and, perhaps, give people a new direction.
Come into the store 10am-2.30pm Tuesdays through Thursdays, or send me a message or give me a call on 06 870 3823
Best way to use leftovers?
I'm sure you've got some excess ham at home or cold roast potatoes.
