Welcome back
A great start to term 3.
I managed to reunite the first 2 lost jumpers of the term with their owners. Or rather reunited one and returned one to the correct classroom, as the child it belongs to is still on holiday. I'm thinking it was taken home by the wrong child last term. As my sons was last year.
I'm still hopeful of it being returned. Has anyone got a jumper with the name Levi Smith on the tag in (likely very faded) blue pen? If you have, could you let me know or drop it into Room 1.
Anyhoo, cross country training started today. I hope everyone has their running shoes. It's a bit chilly to be running barefoot at the moment.
We also have a lot of coughs and colds down the rounds. So please remember tissues or hankies and if you think they would be too sick to go swimming, they are too sick to come to school. As much as we like to encourage it, sharing isn't always caring.
Heres to a great term 3. Oh, and we'll be welcoming Principle Mike Bain back this week. We can't wait to hear what he has learned in his travels. Thanks so much to Heather Wilkie for stepping into the boss role and running the school. You did a fantastic job.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
