Moving upright piano

Julie Neighbourly Lead from Havelock North

Does anyone know how to move an upright piano up stairs?
I’m moving house in 2 weeks and I have a piano to move into a house up 8 feet of concrete stairs and I’m not very big.
I can manage to get it out of my house, and probably up onto my tipping trailer, and off again, but up to the house is gonna be a bit of a mission.
Should specify I’m only moving 2 blocks, so don’t need a moving company.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
