Royal message for Princess Alexandra Village’s 20th birthday
Residents at Princess Alexandra Village were thrilled when a touch of royalty was added to the village’s 20th anniversary celebrations in the form of a personal message from the princess herself.
Princess Alexandra, the Honourable Lady Ogilvy, is a first cousin of the Queen and was the namesake of the hospital originally built on the Battery Road site before Ryman Healthcare acquired it.

Special Children's Christmas Parties in Hawkes Bay
Special Children's Christmas Parties held their Hawkes Bay event at the Pettigrew Green Arena in Taradale last weekend inviting over 800 special needs children and their caregivers to a fun day of free entertainment, food and also took home three quality toys to call their own.
Special Children's Christmas Parties have been organising these events for over 25 years across a number of main centres throughout New Zealand.
Now, every year in New Zealand, nearly 10,000 Kiwi children with special needs, challenging life or health circumstances are invited to a party like no other.
The annual event is made possible by many local businesses supporting this event including Neighbourly.co.nz.
