The Hastings club is based at Stortford Lodge and the day-long tournament will take place on February 18. Allegiance owner and coach Damian Smith said it was a sign of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's popularity within the region and around New Zealand, but also his way to encourage and grow the sport in Hawke's Bay.
