KidsCan Fundraising Garden Party on 18 March come along

Make sure you come along to the KidsCan Garden party with activities for the whole family including varied performances by children, Bubble Man, face painting, raffles, food and drink stalls with food all freshly made and affordable, an ice cream for a treat from Mr Candy, or a drink from Kimi's Coffee Cart, plus stalls for both the children and adults to enjoy, all held in a lovely large garden with room to enjoy the food you have bought or bring a picnic.
18 March 10 am - 3 pm at 43 Paraire Road, Hastings
Entry - Under 12 years free rest $5

Don't forget to bring some extra cash to buy some food or other treats with all money going to KidsCan (except from the professional stalls who have made a generous payment to be there for the charity).

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Sunday 1 December, 4-6.30pm, on H N Village Green. Koha sausage sizzle, Santa, Bay Cities's Symphonic Band, Dianne Abraham, Men in Black, Hukarere Girls' College, carol singing. Bring your chairs and a picnic basket and join the festivities. If inclement weather, we'll move into the church.
