Who should manage Hastings’ Three Waters?
The Government is proposing moving the management of drinking water, waste water and stormwater (Three Waters) services away from city and district councils, to one of four entities across New Zealand.
Hastings services would be managed in a group of 21 council areas.
We want your feedback on the proposal based on the information we have to date, to include in our response to the Government.
For more info and to fill in the survey (by September 19) visit: https://www.hastingsdc.govt.nz/services/water/three-waters-reform/.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
