2025 North Island Colgate Games

Communications from Hastings District Council

This January (10th-12th ) the 2025 North Island Colgate Games are coming to our very own Mitre 10 Park Hawke's Bay in Hastings! This is the biggest athletics event for Kiwi kids, attended by hundreds of young athletes aged 7-14 years old.
To ensure the organisers can deliver a successful event they need up to 80 officials and at least 50 volunteers. If you can volunteer for a day or even a couple of hours, your help would be hugely appreciated.

For further information about volunteering, email athleticshbg@gmail.com or check out athletics.org.nz...

To secure your electric garage doors

Julie Neighbourly Lead from Havelock North

Pull the cord in the control box, either on the side of the door or the middle of your roof at the end of the control arm, then manually pull your door down. Push the bars on the inside of the doors across and into the holes in the side bracket, use a bolt, pin or padlock to secure them in place.
