Volunteer Kitchen Hand
What a great day. Heretaunga Seniors need great volunteers to help in our kitchen. You will be working with a fantastic team of staff and fellow volunteers, preparing morning tea and hot meals. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, approximate hours each day 8.30 am - 1.30 pm. Rhubarb wanted please, about 8 stalks
I would love to make an old favourite dish next weekend. Hoping to come and pick or have freshly picked, (about 700 grams of) top quality red-coloured rhubarb that had been well nourished in the ground for optimum flavour.
I can no longer grow it.
