Who are you wanting to shop with at level 2?

Under level 2, retail and food outlets will be able to open their doors - with social distancing rules still in place.

In Hamilton, "you'll start to see signs on footpaths, tables and chairs out, all indicators of city life starting to happen again," Hamilton Central Business Association general manager Vanessa Williams said.

Hamilton's overburdened justice ecosystem

It desperately needs to be bigger, but they are going to make it stronger instead.

There are not enough courtrooms to cater for the glut of cases at the Hamilton District Court, and according to the Ministry of Justice there won’t be any additional space in the foreseeable future.
