EarthDiverse is offering a special on-line live-streaming two-term course on “Religious Fundamentalism, Extremism and Terrorism” that meets on Tuesday evenings via Zoom. Part 1 (covering the history, context and contemporary examples of Judaism, Christianity and Islam) is offered during Term 2 beginning Tuesday 5 May, while Part 2 (covering Hinduism, Buddhism and the Sikh Faith) will be offered at the same time during Term 3. PM says the ‘war on farming’ is over, at Fieldays’ Mystery Creek
The rural sector will pull the country out of recession, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon told farmers at Mystery Creek on Tuesday.
Luxon’s main message was that farmers are not villains, they are “partners” of the Government and the saviours of the New Zealand economy.

Tributes flow for Paul Galletta
Paul Galletta, “a real Waikato guy”, was farewelled by police and the rugby community at FMG Stadium on Wednesday.
A crowd of nearly 1500 gathered to celebrate the life of Galletta, who died at the age of 62 on November 23.
