Which 'summer' are you having?

The Team Reporter from Stuff

It's been a mixed summer so far for New Zealand. Much of the country has seen record breaking temperatures, drought-conditions and scrub fires. But in recent days the West Coast and Southland have experienced heavy rains, flooding, evacuations and closed roads. Our thoughts are with affected.

Our skies have been coloured by smoke blown over from the Australian bushfires, meanwhile Wellingtonians are just stoked if they get to see the sun.

How has your summer been?

The Waikato Farmers Trust building and adjacent property holdings are for sale in the CBD, marking the end of an era for some, and a “rare” opportunity for others.

The buildings located at 169 London Street, 150 Tristram Street, 153 London Street, and 413-415 Anglesea Street, as well as a parking lot at 409 Anglesea Street with 56 spaces, make up the Waikato Farmers Trust portfolio- all of which is for sale.

Poll: Have you seen vandalism around your area?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Vandals’ repeated attacks on Nawton’s destination playground could force the council to close some of the attractions.

Hamilton’s troubled destination playground is closed once again after more vandalism, with repairs expected to be completed sometime next month.

Have you seen vandalism around your area? Tell us about it in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
