Special Olympics fundraising dinner and auction
Tickets for Te Awamutu’s Special Olympics dinner and auction on Saturday 2 March at Trust Waikato Te Awamutu Events Centre are now on sale.
Rugby league super stars Kevin Walters and Glen Lazarus are rallying behind Te Awamutu’s Special Olympics team. The two former Australian internationals have dedicated their time to be guest speakers at the exciting fundraising event.
Proceeds will help offset travelling costs incurred sending Te Awamutu swimming athletes Deshan Walallavita, Portia Johnson and Unity Collins to the World Games in Abu Dhabi in March plus travel expenses for other athletes to attend future events.
