Keeping Dogs Safe Over the Christmas/New Year/Summer period
Many may not realise unless following the Pets Lost and Found Register/Dog Rescue Groups that a large number of dogs and puppies across the country are mysteriously going missing from their own backyards which is heartbreaking. If you are heading out and leaving your dog at home alone, just a word of caution, please ensure your property is secure and your canine is safe, including in this hot weather, access to shade and water.
For those new owners of little puppies, be vigilant with the Christmas presents, puppies love to explore and chew and sadly many end up at vet clinics, suffering ill effects as a result of having consumed small objects that end up on the floor during our Christmas celebrations.
Merry Christmas all.
