Race with all the family!
XRACE is a mystery adventure race where parent and child aged 6-14 race together, locate and complete 10 mystery challenges; racing the clock and all the other family teams. A team is made up of two people - an adult; dad or mum or a trusted relative or family friend and a child aged between 6 and 14 years of age.
The challenges range from physical (like tug-of-war) to mental (like the memory challenge) to knowledge-based (like the music challenge) to fun (like painting with Resene colours).
Goat for garden/lawn clean up
My son is at uni doing a PHD and useless at keeping up with mowing the lawns, does anyone have a few goats they wouldn’t mind taking care of it for a day or so? Just to get it back to a manageable state. I’m disabled so I can’t do it myself and I’ve seen videos where the goats seem to enjoy it?. Fully fenced section with security.
