With no significant rain forecast until “maybe” later this month, grass is a hot commodity and dry stock farmers who’ve taken on dairy farmers’ heifers want to give them back.

Following a meeting of the adverse event cluster group in early March, Agriculture Minister Todd McClay declared a medium scale adverse event for the region, along with other parts of the country.

A little-known Exclusive Brethren school is expanding its footprint and building a new administration and learning centre at their campus on Eureka Rd.

OneSchool Global has operated its Hamilton campus (formerly known as Waikato campus) at its semi-rural site in Eureka for the past 21 years and recently opened a new $5m campus in Gore, Southland.
