Brakes go on Pōkeno and Tuakau housing as wastewater hits capacity
The fast growing town of Pōkeno has had the brakes put on it due to a lack of wastewater capacity.
The council said it was reaching contractually agreed capacity limit for wastewater services for Tuakau and Pōkeno earlier than expected in its bulk wastewater services agreement, with Watercare Services Limited.
