Hi neighbours - it's Dean here from HBS NZ to let you know that blues music is alive and well at Biddy Mulligan's with HBS having two events each month, each is FREE. On the second Thursday of the month Blues Night from 7pm in Biddy's back bar, and on the fourth Sunday of the month, Afternoon Blues from 1pm in Biddy's front bar (2pm with daylight saving).
The standard of musicianship is very high (You Tube 'Blues Night Out'). Interested, check our Facebook page or website.

New Zealand First’s 31st convention ended with two arrests after pro-Palestine protesters and attendees clashed, following leader Winston Peters’ address.
While that incident grabbed the headlines in Hamilton, policy is also in the spotlight as a question mark now hangs over the Government’s plan to reform contractor law.
