Hamilton airport’s latest annual profit falls sharply
The company behind Hamilton airport has had a $14.9m drop in annual pre-tax profits.
A not unexpected fall in land sales in 2023-24 is a key driver for the change but the boss says traveller “belt-tightening” and overall economic conditions also had an impact.

Hoarder’s burden lifted as property turns from dump to developer’s dream
Developers are now eyeing up the property of a Hamilton hoarder that only weeks ago was an eyesore of exploding rubbish bags and trash.
The clean-up job which is expected to cost “tens of thousands” is still underway, with diggers scraping up the last remains of decades-worth of hoarding and illegally dumped rubbish.
