Te Reo Classes (no charge)
Just let you know the Te Reo classes at the Good News Community Centre start again this coming week. The beginners class is now on Mondays from 5.30 to 7 pm ( you can leave at 6.30 if you want to) and the intermediate to advanced class is on Wednesdays from 6 to 8pm. Beginners are a to attend this one too if they want. We have an excellent Te Reo teacher Dr Paul Wood. All are welcome. The new time-limited scheme is designed to de-risk developments, making finance easier to obtain for developers to start building. Developers often have to pre-sell a proportion of dwellings in any development in order to secure finance, which has become much more difficult in the current economic downturn.

Waikato may be getting a new ‘go-to’ body for building the region’s economy.
The previous economic development agency, Te Waka, shut down earlier this year, saying the “passionate advocates” no longer had the resources to do what they’d planned.
