Tagbusters have performed an Anzac Day miracle restoring the Nga Uri o Hinetuparimaunga sculpture at the Hamilton Gardens entrance to its former glory.

Two Tagbusters’ technicians toiled for two hours on Saturday removing spray paint defacing and desecrating the prominent Nga Uri o Hinetuparimaunga sculpture at the entrance to Hamilton Gardens.

A speed limit drop from 80kph to 60kph for a controversial and key section of Wairere Dr near The Base looks set for sign-off at Wednesday’s city council meeting.

If okayed by councillors and then subsequently approved by the NZ Transport Agency, the move will end what’s been an ongoing controversy over the limit reduction.
