Missing dogs

Deb from Cambridge

Please, can you help us!! We are missing two of our dogs and they have now been gone 11 weeks. They may be in your area. Dice ( male black poodle) and Weed ( female black/white Foxy cross) went missing from the Otago Peninsula and after airing on the TV show Seven Sharp we received news that they had been seen tied to a dirty white older model camping van in very rough condition, just outside Dunedin about the time they went missing. Unfortunately, we got this information four weeks after the sighting and we have been chasing ever since. They could now be anywhere in New Zealand. A Facebook page was set up to coordinate a search nationwide and we have had tremendous support with many posters being displayed and flyers distributed. We have had no confirmed sightings of the dogs since then. After initially thinking that they had been picked up by foreign freedom campers, we now think that this van may have been someone just out for a few days away from their routine. The dogs may now be with them at home. Have you noticed any new dogs in your neighbourhood? Both of them are small, friendly and easy to look after. Dice will be much fluffier than the photos unless he has been clipped. Please contact us if you have any information. Alan 0274761775, Louisa 0274300875

Poll: Do you think a partial demolition is the right call?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

One of the most recognisable buildings at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls could be demolished, except for part of the façade.

The school is asking for resource consent to knock down most of the earthquake-prone Cherrington House as part of plans to build a larger, safer administration block.

Do you think a partial demolition is the right call? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
