Hi neighbours,

Are you planning of flying with Air New Zealand in the lead up towards Christmas? Some Air NZ staff are planning to strike four days out from Christmas – on the airline's busiest travel day of the year. To read more, click here.

Christmas is a hectic time of year in general for some families. Close to 42,000 customers booked to travel domestically and internationally on that date now face potential flight cancellations, the airline has said. Retailers selling “laughing gas” for recreational purposes can now be prosecuted but the message isn’t getting through to some Hamilton retailers.

A Waikato Times reporter was able to buy a pack of 10 silver bullets at two, out of six stores they enquired at, in Hamilton.
