Extra Working Bee Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park

Lynne from Bader

Dear Friends of Waiwhakareke
and all Hamilton Residents
Your help is needed.

With the growth of grass with spring, there is a need to hold some extra working bees to release the 2020 plantings. An extra working bee will be held on Saturday, 14th November, with an earlier start of 8 am-11 am. We will meet in the Car Park opposite the Zoo Entrance.

Bring sturdy footwear, and gloves. Leg protection is advisable (trousers rather than shorts) and a long sleeved shirt.

Also bring: Food and drink for your morning tea.

Keep an eye on our FaceBook page for any additional notices, and for a report and photos of the day.

Poll: Do you think an age check is required for these drinks?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Stores are checking IDs for fancy soft drinks and not everyone is happy about it.

One shopper, who asked not to be named, bought some zero alcohol branded drinks at his local supermarket and was asked to “step around into the thoroughfare so a supervisor could see me and make sure I was over 18. I couldn't believe it."

Do you think an age check is required for these drinks? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
