An illegal dumping hotspot may have cost Kāinga Ora more than $6000 to clean up, while the state landlord says their action could make their land a further target for illegal dumping.

But locals near the Sare Crescent driveway says while they sympathise with the dilemma they’re happy to see their taxes spent on cleaning up an eyesore.
