The foundations were laid early on for Sophie Ahyu and Oracle-Rose Haenga-Ashby when they were students at Kimihia School in Huntly.
Now Ahyu is head girl at Hamilton Girls’ High School and Haenga-Ashby is head girl at Sacred Heart Girls’ College.
