HCC allowing high profile anti-vaxxer to endanger vulnerable members of our community.
HCC is allowing high profile anti-vaxxer and 5G conspiracy theorist Billy Te Kahika to use publicly owned facilities in Hamilton Gardens to push his false and dishonest message encouraging vulnerable elderly and unwell people to spurn the life-saving Covid vaccine. The excuse given by bureaucrats for allowing this meeting is "freedom of speech", which is a farcical misuse of this expression, given the amount of deliberate and dangerous misinformation these disease peddlers repeat, and the devastating effect that illegal anti-vaxx protests have had on the latest spread of the Delta variant in NSW.
