Introduction to Family History (Tuesday 17 August)
An introduction to family history with the Cambridge Branch of the NZ Society of Genealogists.
Featuring an introduction to the group by Jo Barnes (also Cambridge Museum & Historical Society) followed by a presentation by Bruce Crook, the Secretary of the Cambridge Branch.
Bruce's presentation will cover getting started, recording your findings and how to find the information you need.
Koha entry will assist the group's ability to maintain their research room and historical library collection.
The group meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 22A Taylor Street at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.

Tributes flow for Paul Galletta
Paul Galletta, “a real Waikato guy”, was farewelled by police and the rugby community at FMG Stadium on Wednesday.
A crowd of nearly 1500 gathered to celebrate the life of Galletta, who died at the age of 62 on November 23.
