Issues with motorbikes in Minogue park
This is an off lead dog park with signs at all entrances stating no motorcycles, motor vehicles or golf
Almost every night lately there has been some type of small motor bike tearing through the park with a helmetless rider
Last night a large ute got in to the park even though there are bollards??
They unloaded a small motorbike and various children or adult/children combos rode around - adults with no helmet. This is dangerous, as lots of the dogs chase them, being a foreign noisy moving thing in a dog park. It is an accident waiting to happen, as the bikes increase speed and try and get away from the dogs.
If you see this, please ring the council 07-8386699 or the police if there are no helmets 07-8586200
WHERE CAN THEY RIDE THESE BIKES LEGALLY AND SAFELY??
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?

PM says the ‘war on farming’ is over, at Fieldays’ Mystery Creek
The rural sector will pull the country out of recession, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon told farmers at Mystery Creek on Tuesday.
Luxon’s main message was that farmers are not villains, they are “partners” of the Government and the saviours of the New Zealand economy.
