Police believe Tom Phillips was one of the people who robbed a Te Kūiti bank in May.
Phillips has been missing -bar a few sightings - since he fled into the bush with his three children in January 2022. The family had previously been at the centre of a mass search.
A warrant is out for Phillips' arrest on the bank robbery charges.
