EQC muckup!
Is'nt it unbelievable what the people of Christchurch are now discovering, trying to on sell their properties (which they thought had been fixed and signed off) but instead they are finding thousands and thousands of dollars worth of repairs that no one will pay for. These houses were all signed off by the Christchurch CC......I wonder if John Key got wind of this, hence the sudden departure? It is a deplorable situation and one in which this Labour Government, on top of everything else it is striving to find money for (health, education, roads) will no doubt end up paying for.

Poll: Do you go to live music gigs?
It’s “tough” running dive bars and speakeasies but a growing association is shaking up the New Zealand independent music scene.
These are the places where rising stars cut their teeth, members say, but they’re challenged by noise restrictions, alcohol licensing rules and the need to take on multiple tasks outside booking bands.
Do you go to live music gigs? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
