Meet the WAG Project Team
See you at the Greytown Community Board Event at the library in the heart of Greytown on Sunday from 10:00 to 2:00. Come and see the first ever sharing of the map of the preferred option for the flood defences and information on the possible stop banks to protect the town. We'll have members of the project team there to answer questions and say hi - and we're still keen on feedback and questions. We should have answers as we're really, really close to getting the new stuff worked into the rough as guts draft. If you miss tomorrow, we'll be scheduling a Fire Station meeting soon where we'll have all this and more for you to go through with a fine tooth-comb.
Congratulations to all WAG supporters for helping make WAG the South Wairarapa Citizens of the Year for 2019!
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
