This October at Feilding Art Centre
There are opportunities to make, see, buy, and exhibit great art. The listings below are a small sample of what’s happening over the next few weeks, so make sure you check out all the details at www.feildingartsociety.com...
Make:
THIS SATURDAY from 10am to 1pm, join Kylie Wardlaw for a beginners’ landscape painting class in which you will learn how to translate a photograph into a bespoke piece of art. All materials are provided, and a fun time is guaranteed. You’ll walk away with a beautiful piece of art and the skills to continue creating at home.
See:
Karen Sinclair’s Diversity Unleashed Exhibition continues through to October 11. The survey of new works explores Karen’s creative journey through subject matter, styles and media, generating a body of “contemporary eclectic” art.
Buy:
We have a heap of new stock in the Feilding Art Centre shop, including some wonderful new baskets by @AngelCrabWildWeaving!
Exhibit:
Applications for the 2022 Art Awards are open until 4pm October 7. If you’re an artist looking for an opportunity to showcase your work, why not enter your best new work? Register online or at the Art Centre.
