Exhibition opening this week!
Tammie Rose Hodgetts presents her latest body of work in 'Rural Stitches' - on display from September 2 to 21.
These opulent landscapes are all inspired by scenes from the Rangitikei, rendered in Tammie's unique cubist style. The colours and lines Tammie incorporates into her work create a sense that each landscape is stitched together. And yet simultaneously, there is a jewel-like quality in the faceted forms that appear in each painting.
Tammie's artworks certainly offer a unique and intriguing vision of our local landscape, and her exhibition is not one to be missed!
