Our first Deaf and Disabled Young Adults forums have been a roaring success!!!! Thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who helped make it such a good time!!!
We covered the first principle of EGL (Self Determination) and the Vision for disabled lives. There was amazing engagement and we had lots of laughs!
Finishing with board games and subway really went down a treat and we're excited to see how next month goes!!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
