Pioneer Audio / Video Multi Channel Receiver
Pioneer Audio / Video Multi-Channel Receiver with Wharfedale speakers
Pioneer's packed the affordable VSX-D511 with exciting home theater and music features! For starters, you get Dolby® Digital, DTS®, and Pro Logic™ II surround processing, plus 100 watts x 5 channels of clean Pioneer power to ensure crisp, dynamic sound at all times. This receiver also boasts 96kHz/24-bit D/A converters for smooth, lifelike sound from all your digital sources.
For an even more enveloping home theater experience, Pioneer's Virtual Surround Back processing uses advanced sound imaging to reproduce a phantom rear surround speaker. You also get DSP modes for music and movies, including 5-Channel Stereo mode for playing stereo music sources through all of your home theater speakers. When you don't want to disturb sleeping housemates with late-night movies, Pioneer's Midnight Listening mode adjusts the subwoofer, rear, and center speaker levels while compressing dynamic range for greater enjoyment of surround sound at low volumes.
The back panel sports plenty of inputs for all your audio and video sources, including 2 digital inputs and 3 S-video inputs. A 5.1-channel analog input, combined with the VSX-D511's wide-range frequency response (up to 100,000 Hz!), lets you make the most of high-resolution multichannel formats like DVD-Audio and SACD.
