Make Wairarapa plans for Father's Day this weekend.

Let's hear it for Dads and other neat father figures. Let's forgive him for the dodgy jokes during the year and make Sunday 3rd September 2023 a day that's all about him.

What would Dad like? We've rounded up delicious specials and fun times on offer for Dad with lunches, roasts, dinners, Drag Races and Brewery fun. Also on over the weekend is Jazz in Martinborough - check out the cool pop up gigs on around the village.

Choose a locally grown plant or tree for Dad from the sale on this Saturday at the Wairarapa Farmer's Market Plant & Tree Sale. Or get Dad a ticket for Wings over Wairarapa - he'd love that. Head to either the Masterton or Martinborough isite Visitor Centre for Wings tickets - we're here to help.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
