Masterton Toastmasters Meetings
Join Masterton Toastmasters online ZOOM meetings while lockdown is on! The next meeting is Tuesday 28th April. May meetings are the 12th & 26th May. After lockdown meetings are held every second Tuesday at the Salvation Army Room, 210 High Street , Carterton at 7.30pm. This is a service group that you can join to develop speaking, listening and communication skills in a supportive friendly environment. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
