Covid-19 - Important advice for all Wairarapa residents - 22 March 2020
On behalf of all three councils,
1. We’re urgently asking everyone to adhere to advice from the government:
• those over 70 and with compromised immunity or underlying respiratory conditions to stay at home
• everyone to practise physical distancing measures (Keep yourself out of any situation where you come into face-to-face contact with others closer than 1 metre away).
• The requirement for physical distancing INCLUDES businesses
2. We need you all to stay calm, stay clean, stay apart but keep connected.
3. If you are going into café, bar or other hospitality venues, you will most likely be asked for your name and contact details. Please be kind to each other and be prepared to share your personal information, it’s all about keeping each other safe.
