Black cat

Madena from South Dunedin

EDIT:Ive been sitting outside pretty much this whole weekend (my kids are at nanas so I'm being extra lazy😏) and I've watched this cat closely it comes out from under my deck when I come outside around 6am jumps over the back fence then comes back to have breakfast out of my compost ,on to my deck and into my wash house ,back under the deck ,into my garage into my drive way and within an hour or 2 it's back.... it's done this aaaaall weekend there hasn't been more than a couple of hours at most that I haven't seen it so that to me says it thinks it lives here??? Otherwise surely anyone on here who thinks it's their cat would notice it's never bloody home??

Hi all, I've recently moved to young st (not quite 2 months yet) and ever since I moved in this cat has been here... I think it's a girl ( but only going off the pretty eyes) so I could be wrong. It has no collar or anything.
It eats out of my compost, sleeps in my garden and under deck, and rips open unattended rubbish bags from time to time, It's very shy around us but It will wander right into my house like it lives here until it hears a noise or realizes someone is home and takes off. There is also a small hole that has been cut out of my garage door that it uses like a cat door...couldve been cut intentionally?? and my partner has found puddles in there but obviously cant be sure it's from the same cat
I'm not sure if it belongs to a surrounding neighbor or if it was left behind by the last tenant or if it's just lost .
Today I managed to lure it close enough (with ham haha) to take some pics
Hope someone out there can identify it 😺

P.s also a large-ish tabby hanging around, not as much as the black one but have seen them asleep together....perhaps left by/belong to the same owner

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
